Over the last 2 hours heavy fighting broke out to the East of Bandar Abbas as Iran forces made another attempt to dislodge Coalition troops from their occupiation of the city only to find their push severely hampered when they were discovered before they where in position by an F/A-18 Hornet.

While reports are still currently sketchy Cat New Network has been told that the hornet was shot down shortly after downlinking his discovery by SA15 launchers in the region. However his warnings allowed other coalition strike forces in the region to be aware of the threat and seemed to trigger an attack that by all acounts was about 30 minutes too soon, as the Irani armour pushed with out any form of helicopter support, which arrived only after the battle had began with Irani tanks already having suffered heavy losses to coalition entranced M1A2 Abrams and M2A2 Bradleys, along with Air bombardment from F/A-18 Hornets and a flight of friendly Apache’s who’s pilots have all been taken for drug testing after large quantities of Katnip was discovered in their barracks and they flew very erratically.

While Coalition forces seem to have blunted the attack for now, we have not been informed at what cost, and Admiral Kosh’Ne Cat has restricted news personel from leaving the ‘Safe’ Zones, claiming that the Irani’s are still active in the surrounding townships to the east.

From the Persian Gulf, This is Kitty Purrsalot reporting.
