AV-8B N/A Flight Training and Qualification

Welcome to the Marines! Hoorah!

Welcome to the AV-8B Night Attack strike aircraft also known as the Harrier II, built originally by McDonald Douglas and based on the original British Harrier the AV-8B was a significant rework of the classic harrier to meet the specific mission requirements of the United States Marine Air Combat Forces, a roll that it has performed with distinction since it's employment.

With its powerful Pegasus engine and its amazing VTOL abiity the harrier is a mainstay of Marine aircombat, often coupled with the F/A-18C the Harrier is capable of deep strike, SEAD and cas as well as limited Air to Air with it's heat seeking missiles.

Rather then reinvent the wheel here we are linking to existing training video's on youtube (mainly Redkite's great videos), however as the AV-8B is currently early access expect these things to change. We will try and keep this page up to date when/if things change with videos or make our own.
